Meat Riot was a rock band Jack Box performed in during the 1980's. The band was a one-hit wonder with the song "Hot Mess." The band briefly reunited in 2013 to record an acoustic version of "Hot Mess" and were the subject of an episode of the music documentary series "What Ever Happened To?"
